ROVA completes a strategic acquisition in Romania and takes over Lindab’s local operations

The acquisition follows an agreement announced in December 2025, when the Swedish Lindab Group publicly confirmed its intention to divest its remaining Romanian operations as part of the ongoing restructuring of its Profile Systems division across Central and Eastern Europe. The transaction was subsequently approved by the relevant national authorities responsible for the review of foreign investments.

The acquired Romanian operation significantly strengthens ROVA Group’s position in the regional market. The acquisition includes approximately 100 highly skilled employees, bringing valuable expertise and many years of experience in the manufacturing and sales of building systems. The acquired company generated annual revenue of approximately EUR 20 million in 2025, underlining its strong market position and significant business potential.

The acquisition includes a comprehensive infrastructure comprising modern manufacturing facilities, extensive warehouse capacity, and an established sales organization that ensures efficient market coverage. The core of the portfolio consists of the Profile Systems division, with roofing and building envelope systems representing the company’s primary business activities. The transaction also includes a smaller but strategically important ventilation division, further expanding the product portfolio and creating additional opportunities for growth in the Romanian market.

With this acquisition, ROVA Group gains a strong manufacturing and distribution base in one of the fastest-growing construction markets in Southeast Europe.

The company will operate in the Romanian market not only as a major distributor but also as a licensed manufacturer of a broad portfolio of premium Lindab products. This will ensure continuity of supply and maintain the highest quality standards for both existing and new customers.
